Hey there! Its been a long time since I have been on this. Well to sum up the last year of my life i really do not know where to start.
I started Heartland Baptist Bible College fall of 2012 as a youth major. My freshman year was a blast, and I learned a lot from all the classes that I took. I even had a couple chances to preach. I was able to go home for Christmas break, which seemed as if it was only a weekend, but in reality it was a month. I got back to school and started my second semester all fired up. It went by so fast that I really couldn’t tell you what all happened. All I know is that spiritually I grew and was able to see God do great things for me and through me.
I worked at Camp Hosanna for my last summer, and was the senior male counselor. I enjoyed every bit of it and hope that one day I will be able to return and take my youth group, when I have one, to it.
Following summer, I went back to school as a sophomore and was amazed at the fact that God was able to use me. I was given the priviledge to be apart of Witness!, the schools traveling ensemble. Last semester was too fast and but it was a blessing all the way around.
I was able to go home to Horn Lake, MS for Christmas and Thanksgiving to be with family in our new house that we recently bought. It is a great feeling to have a house after living in a 490 sq. Ft. travel trailer and a dorm room shared with 3 other men. I was given the opportunity to Hunt and was gladly taking advantage of it. I was also given the chance to teach childrens church an das well as preach for youth sunday, both things which i do not take for granted.
I am back at school again for my fourth semester which is hard to believe that i am almost done with my college career. This just shows that what the Bible says is true, that life is a vapor. It is going by faster than we can imagine and Its the duty of the born again believer to tell others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am glad to be able to say, that one of my co-workers was able to find Jesus Christ last semester. It is a blessing to have fellow students to work with so that we can influence those that we touch on a daily basis. I praise the Lord for all he has done and all that he is going to do and hope and pray that I will grow more spiritually than i did last year, even though I fail on a daily basis.

1 Cor. 15:10 – ”
Well sorry it has been a while since i posted on here, but i have been enjoying the life of a busy college student. I am attending Heartland Baptist Bible College located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a Youth Ministries major. I absolutely love it out here and am so thankful for the friends and teachers I have met and gotten to know out here. The semester is almost up though and I will be going home in two weeks. Lord willing, I will be able to come back next semester to finish up my freshman year.
Basically what i wanted to post about was what has really hit me over the chapel services and preaching this semester. Our school theme is Ask, Seek, Knock with a theme verse of Matthew 7:7-8. All through this semester It has hit me that I have not been living by faith as much as I thought i had been. But what the Lord has taught me over the past 15 weeks is that all I have to do is ask the Lord for help, seek him in his word, and knock and He will answer me. There have been issues sent my way since i came here and at first i did all i could and failed. It seemed that I always turned to God last, but i began getting faithful in seeking Him on a regular basis and trusting Him to take care of me and He did. But he didn’t start working until I dropped my burden on the Lord. Just like have burdens and problems, so do all of you. It is this principal that will help you get through your problems as well. But one may say, I have tried that and it doesn’t work? The only question i could reply to you in this case is have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior from sin and as your ticket to get to Heaven? We are all sinners and each and every one of us, as a result of that sin, are not able to go to Heaven. In John 3:16 it says,” For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not parish but have everlasting life.” In this verse it tells us how God sent his one and only son to save us so that we could have eternal life in Heaven, a place of mansions, instead of Hell, a lake of fire, which is where one goes after he dies . The only way to get to heaven is to repent and confess your sin to Jesus and believe that Jesus died for your sins on the cross and trust in the promise that is given in Romans 10:13. It reads,”Whosoever calleth upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you have not done this, I pray that you will do it soon.
Anywho, I got to head off here.

All January we were in the warm sunny state of Florida. After that was over we were with pastor Dan Back in Pascagoula, Mississippi. We were there for one week, then we headed over to Hammond, Louisiana to Pastor Barry Stanley. From there we went to our home church- Goodman Road Baptist Church – in Horn Lake, Mississippi. We stayed there for a week , enjoying the chance to get to fellowship with friends and family. The following week, some friends offered to keep my little sisters while me, my dad, and my mom went up to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to visit my brother who is currently attending Heartland Baptist Bible College, and to go to a preachers meeting. We got back to the trailer the friday of that week. The next morning we Got the trailer road ready, and set of for Chicago Illinois to Parkview Baptist Church. WE had a good week there, and then left for Valporaizo, Indiana. Last SUnday, we had a great day with Pastor Moore and his church Family Bible Church. As of now the weather has not been very bad and i am shure praying that we do not see anymore snow. Please pray for us as we travel all through the northern states for the next couple of months.

Happy new year! Its hard to believe that we are already in 2011. For me, it seemed like it flew by. We had a great holliday season with family and friends. I really enjoyed having my brother around for most of December but he left today back for Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As of tomorrow though, we are headed to the great state of North Carolina! This will be our first road trip of 2011 after staying home for a month and a half, so that is going to be really fun…:D…okay not so much fun. Pray for us as we travel from place to place to different churches all across America. Most of the time most saturdays we will be traveling over 400 miles in a day so with 5 people in a car it can be hairry at times. Thanks again for visiting the site, and God bless yal.
